letter to my future self.

dear kelsey ann wright,

i understand that you are at a crossroads in your life.

i'd like you to remember right now (and in the future)

that you're in the hands of a mighty creator. please try

not to forget that you are one that is beloved and

cherished. it would be a good thing if you began to

look outside of your small box and tried to reach for the

highest stars. know that the God of the universe gave you

passions and desires for a purpose. know that who you are is enough.

know that that God is mighty to save. know that nothing

takes him by surprise that happens in your life. and know

because of that beautiful, scandalous night 2,000 years ago

you can now live freely, fully, gracefully, and lovingly.

please remember kelsey that this life is not about you

but about loving God and loving people. follow Jesus. now that you have

experienced His unconditional love, you can not remain stagnant.

because of Him, your life will change and it will be beautiful.

so embrace the scary, broken, messy, painful, harsh, hateful

world with confidence, for your loving Father, Maker, Rabbi,

Best Friend, and Savior is on your side and with you... forever.

He will be watching over you and redeeming you.

seek his perfect will and trust in his faithfulness.

please understand that you are now about something much greater.
